Help CCG by Participating in Your Company's Gift Matching Program

Many companies make matching donations to their employees' favorite charities. If you send us your company's gift matching form, we will complete and submit it for you. Make your gift go even further with the help of your employer!

Encourage Your Library to Stock CCG's Books for Families

The first place most parents go for information after diagnosis is their local library. Only some of the 12,000 public libraries in the U.S. have all four of CCG's newest editions on their shelves. You can help newly diagnosed families by asking your local library to purchases all four books for their collections. You can do this in person by asking the library's reference librarian for a "request for purchase" form to fill out. Or, check your local library's website to see if you can make a "request for purchase" online. The names of the most up-to-date editions are:

Childhood Leukemia
A Guide for Families, Friends, and Caregivers, 3rd edition by Nancy Keene. Published by O'Reilly & Associates in 2002.

Childhood Cancer
A Parent's Guide to Solid Tumor Cancers, 2nd edition by Honna Janes-Hodder and Nancy Keene. Published by O'Reilly & Associates in 2002.

Childhood Brain & Spinal Cord Tumors
A Guide for Families, Friends and Caregivers, by Shiminski-Maher, Cullen, and Sanselone. Published by O'Reilly & Associates in 2001.

Childhood Cancer Survivors
A Practical Guide to Your Future, 2nd Edition, by Keene, Hobbie, and Ruccione. Published by O'Reilly & Associates in 2006.

Raise Money to Purchase Books in Bulk

Many hospitals that treat children with cancer give a CCG book to each newly diagnosed family. Families or friends of children with cancer or local support groups often donate the books. To help get this essential information into the hands of families that need it, CCG gives substantial discounts for bulk purchases. We only charge enough to cover the costs of producing the books and printing more when needed. To order books in bulk, call (800) 998-9938.

We deeply appreciate your help!
