SAMFund Grants to Help Survivors Pay Bills and Get Insurance
The SAMfund provides financial assistance to young adults as they regain momentum in their lives after cancer. Grants provided cover a wide range of post-treatment financial needs such as:
The SAMFund does not award scholarships for undergraduate tuition. However, undergrads who meet the eligibility requirements are welcome to apply for grants for other expenses (e.g., medical bills, school books, computers, etc.). Click here for more info or to apply.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Helps Families Pay for Travel
Recognizing the financial burden that families often encounter, the ALSF Travel For Care Program offers assistance to families who need to travel for childhood cancer treatment at select medical institutions across the United States. Transportation, lodging, and meal accommodations are available to eligible families who meet the criteria. Applications must be received from a social worker or other medical representative.
